We support educators in creating responsive programs that recognize children’s individual needs, interests, abilities, and stages of development — with room for play, exploration, learning, relationships, and growth.
Chapter 1
Infants require responsive care, consistency, and close attention to their individual routines. Educators work closely with families to understand each infant’s unique needs.
Chapter 2
Toddlers are naturally curious and eager to explore. Learning happens through play, exploration, movement, and everyday experiences.
Chapter 3
Preschool-aged children are encouraged to explore their interests and develop skills for their next stage of learning — through purposeful play.
Chapter 4
School-age children need opportunities to relax, socialize, explore interests, and develop independence — before school, after school, and during breaks.
Chapter 5
Some families need child care outside traditional daytime hours. We support overnight programs for non-traditional schedules, with agency monitoring. Availability depends on licensing, policies, educator capacity, and approval.
Belonging
Every child is unique. We encourage educators to work with families to understand each child’s strengths, needs, routines, and interests.
Agency consultants conduct regular monitoring visits — including scheduled and unscheduled visits — in accordance with applicable requirements and agency policies. Safety inspections and program monitoring help educators maintain safe, appropriate environments, with ongoing guidance for continuous improvement.
Quality child care is more than supervision. It is about relationships — environments where children can explore, play, ask questions, build friendships, develop independence, and feel a sense of belonging. We recognize children as capable, curious, and active participants in their learning.
