For families
Finding the right child care for your family
Choosing child care is an important decision. Parents and caregivers want their children to be safe, happy, supported, and cared for by someone they trust. Our family day home programs offer learning and growth in a smaller, home-based setting.
Ages & care types
Child care from infancy to school age
Our programs offer child care for children from infancy through school age (0–12 years), depending on the individual educator’s approved program and available spaces.
Program availability, hours, and age groups vary by educator. Extended hours may be available as required.
Everyday moments
What children experience
Every day home is unique. Children participate in experiences planned around their ages, interests, abilities, and developmental needs.
Smaller by design
A home-based child care experience
Family day home care can provide a one-on-one, home-like environment where children develop relationships with their educator and a small group of peers.
Growing well
Supporting your child’s development
Development is unique to every child. Educators observe interests and emerging skills, then create meaningful learning opportunities that build on that growth.
Social and emotional skills
Building friendships, expressing emotions, developing confidence, and learning to interact with others.
Communication and language
Developing vocabulary, listening, storytelling, early literacy, and communication skills.
Physical development
Developing coordination, movement, balance, fine motor skills, and physical confidence.
Cognitive development
Exploring, questioning, problem-solving, experimenting, and developing curiosity.
Independence and self-help
Learning to participate in routines and develop age-appropriate independence.
Partnership
Partnering with families
Parents and caregivers know their children best. Open communication between families and educators helps children receive consistent support between home and child care.
Affordability
Child care fees and affordability
